I had to learn "Country Roads" at primary school for a music festival. I still know all the words and tortured DH by singing it as we drove through the Blue Ridge Mountains about 15 years ago.Malihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03928262526502319303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3178366214524455884.post-88364761903909885032014-09-01T21:41:10.505-04:002014-09-01T21:41:10.505-04:00Though he sang about WV and jet planes, we claim h...Though he sang about WV and jet planes, we claim him in these parts.<br /><br />"Sweet Surrender" is one of my favorites. Usually near the end, when everyone had had a few. ;) <br /><br />Another song of his I loved was "Follow Me," which Olivia Newton-John also covered. A friend of mine used to sing it at weddings, and I thought of asking her to sing it at mine, but the minister stipulated the music had to be hymns. The one exception was "The Wedding Song (There is Love)" and so she sang that one instead. loribethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09272814565916935113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3178366214524455884.post-69880773872576969202014-09-01T18:15:47.777-04:002014-09-01T18:15:47.777-04:00That just made me smile.
