On the other hand, I will never have to explain the existence of President Trump to a child...

  1. K at Bent not Broken told me the same thing last night. It's what I'm facing today. Among many other things....

  2. I have never been as legitimately grateful not to have children as I am this morning. I am gobsmacked.

  3. I'm still in shock that Trump has won. What a sad day! And feel so disappointed for Hilary who would have made a great president.

  4. In all my years of being childless, last night was the first time ever that I was in tears because I was grateful that I didn’t have any.

  5. Although I am not a fan of Trump, as a cancer survivor I at least now have hope that we will now move away from so much government involvement with health caree. And since I do not believe that he is a true right-winger (he was a Democrat just 10 years ago), I don't believe he will try to increase government involvement in private decisions such as abortion, gay marriage, and end-of-life decisions. Maybe I am wrong and he will end up growing government like every politician seems to do, but for now I choose to be optimistic and give him a chance.
