My understanding is the opt-out option for holidays such as [Voldemort] Day is becoming much more common in the U.K., but it continues to be relatively rare here in North America (so far). Thank you, Pandora!

Oooh, wonderful! I got opt-out notices from Etsy and Book of the Month. SO appreciated. I think more and more businesses are doing this! Wish the radio would, ha ha. Or the catalogs that make it seem like only moms wear pajamas. :)
